If you’re looking to book a holiday cruise, this festive season could be the ideal time to dive in. Many major cruise lines are rolling out attractive Black Friday deals on a variety of sailings, including expeditions to Antarctica and the Galápagos Islands, as well as Caribbean and Alaska itineraries. They feature fare discounts, complimentary gratuities, onboard credit for drinks, and more.
Whether you’re seeking a family-friendly voyage on a megaship or a laid-back retreat on a more intimate vessel, there’s an offer for every type of traveler. See below for a list of the top seven Black Friday cruise deals for 2023.
Up to 40% off and credit at Cunard Line
Cunard is presenting discounts of up to 40% on launch fares for select sailings from January 2024 to May 2025, along with up to $1,000 in onboard credit per stateroom. The deal is valid until Dec. 4 for the first two guests on a reservation, as noted in a news release.
Holland America Line Black Friday sale
Holland America guests can enjoy up to 30% off cruise-only fares on select trips through 2025, along with prepaid gratuities for the first and second guests in a stateroom. The offer applies to over 800 departures to destinations such as Alaska, the Caribbean, and Antarctica, lasting until Dec. 1. Itineraries shorter than five days and Grand Voyages are not eligible.
As much half-off expeditions from HX
HX, formerly known as Hurtigruten Expeditions, is offering up to 50% off select expeditions sailing through March 31. The offer includes itineraries in the Galápagos Islands, West Africa, and more, and is available until Nov. 30.
Drinks, Wi-Fi and more from MSC Cruises
MSC’s Black Friday deal includes free drinks and Wi-Fi, along with up to $500 in onboard credit on most sailings. It also features free fares for kids 17 and under sailing as third and fourth guests. The sale runs through Nov. 24, offering adult passengers the line’s Easy Plus drink package that includes cocktails, wine, beer, bottled water, and more. Staterooms in the line’s Yacht Club are not included.
Norwegian Cruise Line Black Friday deal
Norwegian’s offer includes 50% off cruises for passengers booking by Nov. 26. Travelers can also combine this deal with The line’s Free At Sea offer for complimentary perks including specialty dining and Wi-Fi.
Save more than $5,000 with Oceania Cruises
Oceania is providing impressive discounts of up to $5,400 per stateroom for over 100 cruises in 2024, featuring various destinations in Asia, the Mediterranean, and South America. Guests must book by Dec. 5, and it comes with a chance to sail on the luxurious Oceania trips.
Virgin Voyages Black Friday offer
Virgin is offering 30% off select cruises departing through December 2024, along with a Bar Tab to use on premium drinks onboard. The deal rolls out until Nov. 30.
