Breaking News: Arrest Made in Tragic Subway Stabbing – Murder Charges Filed

A man suspected of stabbing a 23-year-old passenger without provocation on a Metro B (Red) Line train in downtown Los Angeles has been charged with murder, announced prosecutors on Wednesday.

Charged with the murder of Jesse Rodriguez, Randy Lamale Nash, 31, allegedly followed Rodriguez onto a Metro train at Union Station before killing him, according to the District Attorney’s Office.

At his arraignment on Tuesday, Nash pleaded not guilty and is scheduled to appear in downtown Los Angeles on October 13 for a hearing to determine if there is enough evidence for a trial.
