The couple, based in Dallas, Texas, will embark on their first solo trip together in November, just two days after their wedding.

According to John, they came across Costco Travel when a pastor mentioned it during a young adult ministry meeting. Initially skeptical, they decided to explore the platform further. To their surprise, they found a resort package on Costco Travel that was identical to one they had seen elsewhere for $8,700, but at a much lower price.

Concerned about the legitimacy of the offer, John made a call to the St. Lucia resort to verify. To his surprise, the representative confirmed that Costco Travel’s prices are usually unbeatable and encouraged him to book through them. As a bonus, Perkins and Weakley received a $300 gift card for their booking.

Perkins expressed her satisfaction with the cost-saving opportunity, highlighting that it may not be the most glamorous option, but it certainly aligns with their budget.
