Wedding bells rang for Luke Jacobz, known for his role in Home and Away, as he finally married his American fiancée, Raychel Stuart. Due to the pandemic, the couple had to postpone their nuptials twice, but on June 3, they were able to fulfill their “lifelong dream” of getting married in an intimate ceremony at Sydney’s Centennial Park.
The bride, Raychel, couldn’t contain her excitement and walked down the aisle 40 minutes earlier than planned. She described the moment as truly unforgettable and the setting as magical.
Luke and Raychel had to make adjustments to their plans as their fathers had passed away, and her brothers couldn’t make it from LA. Nevertheless, they looked stunning and radiated happiness as they exchanged vows. Luke wore a custom suit by Alex Goodman, while Raychel wore a simple yet elegant bridal gown. Raychel also showcased her creativity by designing the floral arrangements, which included a bouquet of native blooms.
The couple is now looking forward to this new chapter as a married couple and hinted at their plans to start a family soon. Before embarking on their American honeymoon, they plan to relax and celebrate with their loved ones, including attending family weddings and birthdays.
In 2021, Luke and Raychel endured over a year of separation due to travel restrictions imposed by the pandemic. However, they persevered through moments of despair and uncertainty and turned their dream into a reality.
