A tragic incident occurred in northwestern China where a huge cooking gas explosion claimed the lives of 31 people and left seven injured. The devastating blast happened at a popular barbecue restaurant in Yinchuan, the capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, during the evening hours of Wednesday, just before the Dragon Boat Festival holiday. The festival, which is celebrated nationwide, is known for its rice dumplings and boat races.
