Fans will soon see the superstar back in action.
Orton’s last appearance in WWE was on the May 20, 2022, episode of SmackDown when he and Matt Riddle lost the Raw Tag Team Championship to The Usos in a winner-take-all match for the Raw and SmackDown titles.
After The Usos’ victory, they attacked Orton, leading to Riddle revealing that The Viper would be absent for a while due to a back ailment.
Fightful Select (h/tH Jenkins of Ringside News) reported in November that he underwent fusion surgery on his lower back. While no specific timeline was given for his return, it was noted that he would be out for “an extended period of time.”
Before his injury, Orton was one half of RK-Bro with Riddle, and they were among the most popular acts in the entire company.
The fans supported Orton as he displayed a more light-hearted side, showcasing his versatility in WWE.
Orton’s return to WWE is highly anticipated, and his presence is expected to have a significant positive impact on the company.
With over 20 years in his wrestling career, Orton has accomplished much and remains a prominent figure in the business.
WWE’s roster is filled with top male Superstars, and Orton’s comeback is sure to elevate him among the best in the company once again.
