The Journey from Good to Awful to Catastrophic
Prior to the incident, Parsa’s trip was going smoothly. However, during their Volotea flight, they encountered turbulent weather and had to land in Brindisi, Italy instead of Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Initially, they were assured that they would be put on another flight the following day and were provided with accommodation for the night. But their plans kept changing, leading to confusion and panic among passengers.
Eventually, Parsa and his girlfriend made it to Rome and reached their final destination in Croatia. However, their journey was far from ideal, with unsettling experiences like a reckless car ride and misleading information.
Parsa has attempted to contact Volotea for a refund but has only received an automated response. Volotea has not responded to Insider’s request for comment.
Despite the travel mishaps, Parsa still enjoyed the rest of his trip, especially bonding with fellow travelers who experienced the same predicament.
