Aug. 31 (UPI) — Police in Nebraska had a rather interesting encounter with a one-of-a-kind vehicle. They came across a car modified in such a way that a Watusi bull was sitting in the front passenger seat.

The Norfolk Police Division received a call about a vehicle traveling on eastbound U.S. Route 275 with the unconventional passenger.

Police Captain Chad Reiman, in an interview with News Channel Nebraska, revealed, “The officers received a call about a car driving into town with a cow in it. They expected it to be a small calf or something that could actually fit inside the vehicle.”

To their surprise, they found a full-grown Watusi bull comfortably seated in the passenger seat of the modified car.

Reiman added, “The officer issued a few warnings. There were certain issues that could have been ticketed, but the officer decided to issue a warning instead and requested the driver to take the bull back home and leave the city.”

Local residents are familiar with the driver, Lee Meyer, and his bull, Howdy Doody, as they are often seen together on Neligh-area streets.

In fact, a video of Meyer driving the modified car with Howdy Doody from the O’Neill area became viral back in 2018.
