MANILA, Philippines — University of the Philippines (UP) and National University (NU) continued their winning streaks in the UAAP Season 86 women’s basketball tournament. UP defeated La Salle 65-61, while NU dominated University of the East (UE) with a score of 72-50.
In their game against La Salle, UP showed great skill and determination, securing their sixth consecutive win of the season. Louna Ozar, Marian Domingo, Christie Bariquit, and Rhea Sanchez delivered impressive performances, contributing to their team’s victory.
NU, on the other hand, displayed their dominance against UE, earning their second straight win. Ann Pingol and Angel Surada played key roles in securing the victory for their team.
