During the final season of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” Kim accused her older sister of “yelling” at and “degrading” her kids’ nanny over her disciplinary actions towards Kourtney’s youngest son, Reign, during a family vacation to Idaho.
“She was crying and she thought she was going to lose her job,” Kim revealed to Kourtney, recounting the nanny’s emotional state.
Kourtney denied raising her voice at the nanny, explaining that she had a conversation with her about Reign’s claim that the nanny informed him he “would go to jail if” he “talked in the car.”
Kim acknowledged that the nanny was upset that Kourtney confronted her at a restaurant and agreed that it wasn’t appropriate for Kourtney to have the conversation in public. Kourtney defended her actions by stating that Reign prefers when she confronts people in front of him.
“He wants to know that I have his back in front of him,” Kourtney said.
After Kourtney expressed her decision to not allow Kim’s nanny to be around her children, Kim made a remark about Kourtney’s track record with nannies, implying that she struggles to retain their services.
In a subsequent confessional, Kourtney expressed hurt over Kim’s comment and accused her of intentionally spreading false information to hurt her.
However, later in the episode, Kim visited Kourtney’s home to apologize, and they were able to put their differences aside.
