Angus Cloud, the rising actor who gained fame by portraying drug dealer Fezco in HBO’s “Euphoria,” tragically passed away due to a fatal combination of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, and benzodiazepine, as revealed by the Alameda County Coroner’s office on Thursday.
Cloud, aged 25, succumbed to these substances at his family’s Oakland home on July 31. His untimely death came just one week after he laid his father to rest.
The family had previously released a statement announcing his tragic demise, conveying their heartfelt sorrow. The statement read, “Today, we bid farewell to an exceptional individual, and the pain that comes with this loss is truly overwhelming. Angus was not only an artist, but also a friend, a brother, and a son. He held a special place in each of our hearts.”
“Last week, Angus laid his father to rest and struggled immensely with this profound loss. Our only solace is knowing that Angus has been reunited with his dad, who was his closest confidant. Angus had always been candid about his mental health battle, and we hope that his passing serves as a reminder to those who feel alone, encouraging them to seek support and not suffer in silence.”
Prior to his passing, Cloud had been expected to reprise his role in the upcoming third season of “Euphoria.” He had also made appearances in movies like “North Hollywood” and “The Line,” in addition to featuring in numerous music videos.
