Unlocking Powerhouse Performance: Blue Jays Activate Matt Chapman as Third Baseman

TORONTO – Matt Chapman returns to the Toronto Blue Jays’ lineup.

Chapman has been activated from the 10-day injured list and will bat sixth in the Blue Jays lineup as they host the Texas Rangers on Thursday. Chapman went on the injured list on Aug. 28 with a sprained right middle finger after trapping it between a dumbbell and a weight rack.

“He’s a key part of our team and we’re thrilled to have him back,” said Toronto manager John Schneider. “His energy is infectious and beneficial for the entire group.

“We’re excited to see him out there every day.”
