Amongst their most popular videos is one where Performance Toyota demonstrates a secret method to open the tailgate of a Tundra pickup.
The video showcases a dealership employee unlocking the vehicle and activating a button located on the side of the left-hand rear light.
Upon pressing it, the electric tailgate swiftly opens, granting quick and easy access to the Tundra’s spacious bed.
Many contemporary vehicles now incorporate electric tailgates, which typically require users to press a button or engage a sensor to access the trunk space.
These tailgates prove to be enormously beneficial for vehicle owners who may be vertically challenged or need to transport heavy items.
While some experts argue that this feature may not be necessary for smaller vehicle models with lighter tailgates, it is deemed essential for larger models.
