Fezzari Bicycles unveils the Explorer Peak, an innovative carbon fat-tire ebike designed to provide motor assist for various terrains, including urban streets, sandy beaches, and snow-covered trails.
The 2024 Explorer Peak was showcased at the Overland & Outdoor Event at Fezzari HQ in Lindon, Utah. It will be available in two configurations.
The Elite edition features a full carbon frame with four size options and is priced at US$5,499. Equipped with a Shimano EP801 mid-drive motor located in the bottom bracket, it offers unmatched power. The battery, supplied by Darfon, is a 720-Wh downtube unit, with promises of configurations reaching 835 watt-hours. Additionally, the bike features a SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed gearset.

Interestingly, the specs mention a rigid carbon fork, but the promotional renders display a suspension fork. Regardless, the 27.5-inch wheels equipped with 4.5-inch-wide Maxxis Colossus fat tires provide a comfortable ride. The bike is equipped with TRP Trail EVO hydraulic disc brakes with 180-mm rotors, a TransX dropper seat post with a WTB Volt saddle, and a 780-mm-wide alloy flatbar with Ergon grips.
The Comp configuration shares similar features but comes with an EP600 motor, Shimano CUES 11-speed cassette, and TRP Slate brakes. It has a price tag of $4,599.
The Explorer Peak is set to launch in early 2024. Pre-order customers can save $200 on the retail price.
