With Thanksgiving and Black Friday behind us, it’s time to celebrate the most festive event of the year: the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting. The 91st tree lighting ceremony will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 29, at 8 p.m. ET, hosted by pop icon Kelly Clarkson. The star-studded event will feature performances by Cher, Chloe Bailey, Liz Gillies, Katharine McPhee, Keke Palmer, and more, as well as an appearance from the Radio City Rockettes. The 80-foot-tall Norway spruce tree will be adorned with 50,000 multicolored lights and a 900-pound star covered in 3 million Swarovski crystals to signify the start of the holiday season.
