Tyreek Hill Confirms Participation in Sunday’s Game Against Patriots Despite Hip Injury

After missing Wednesday’s practice due to a hip injury, Tyreek Hill seems to be recovering well. The star wide receiver for the Dolphins was back at practice on Thursday. This is great news for the team, as Hill showed no signs of being limited in his activities. According to NFL Network, he was able to participate in almost everything he normally does during practice.

When asked about his injury or any pain he might be experiencing, Hill jokingly responded, “Nah, I just wanted some attention, man. Because my mom wouldn’t talk to me yesterday, so I needed some attention from somebody. I’m good though.”

Reporters also asked Hill if he will be playing in the upcoming game against the New England Patriots on Sunday. He confidently replied, “Yeah baby. I’m good baby.”

Hill’s return to practice was a positive sign for the Dolphins. His absence on Wednesday raised concerns, as hip injuries can be unpredictable and sideline players for weeks. Additionally, Tua Tagovailoa’s comments hinted that Hill might miss some games. The quarterback had mentioned that they might not see Hill again “down the line.”

Tagovailoa praised Hill’s unique skills on the field but also highlighted the abilities of other players, such as Jaylen Waddle. He emphasized the importance of not losing momentum as a team, even without Hill.

Not having Hill in Miami’s Week 8 matchup would have been a significant blow to the offense. He has been one of the top players in the entire NFL this season and is on track to exceed 2,000 receiving yards. Losing him would be a major loss for the Dolphins.

In addition to Hill, the Dolphins were also missing running back Raheem Mostert (ankle) during Wednesday’s practice. Fellow wide receiver Waddle, who dealt with a back injury in Week 7, was listed as limited.
