While filling up at this time of year can be costly, Sheetz Gas is offering its customers something to be thankful for during the busy travel week.
The gas station and convenience store chain recently announced a price drop on one of its gas grades for the entire holiday weekend.

In a press statement titled “Happy Tanks-giving,” Sheetz revealed that it will be celebrating Thanksgiving week by offering its unleaded 88 gas for just $1.99 a gallon. This discounted price will be available until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 27.
As of Nov. 20, the U.S. average price of regular gasoline is $3.30 according to AAA. Meanwhile, the average prices for premium and E85 gasoline are $4.10 and $2.72, respectively.
Sheetz Gas Stations in Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia carry the unleaded 88 gas. Customers are advised to check the Sheetz mobile app or website for a list of participating stations.
Sheetz isn’t the only gas station showing appreciation for its customers during the Thanksgiving holiday. On Black Friday (Nov. 24), GetGo will offer a $1 discount off the per-gallon price to its AdvantagePay, myPerks Pay Direct, and myPerks Pay Rewards Visa Credit Card members, as reported by CBS News.
With approximately 49 million people projected to hit the roads this Thanksgiving holiday week, many will have the opportunity to take advantage of these limited-time deals.
