LOS ANGELES – After four years of marriage, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are reportedly heading toward divorce.
The couple, who share two children, has encountered “serious problems” over the past six months. Jonas’ team has allegedly been in contact with two divorce lawyers in the Los Angeles area, as reported by TMZ.
According to the publication, Jonas has been primarily responsible for taking care of their two children, even while on tour with his brothers Kevin and Nick Jonas. The trio began their world tour in New York on August 12 and will conclude in North America on December 9 before continuing overseas in February.
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner got married in 2019 after a two-year engagement. They welcomed their first child in 2020.
In an interview with British Vogue last year, Turner shared her experience of becoming a mother.
“I cannot leave the house without a snack for her, or else my life would become a nightmare and my child would yell at me,” she joked.

In the same month, Turner revealed her pregnancy with her second child in an interview with Elle magazine, saying, “We’re incredibly excited to expand our family. It’s the greatest blessing.”
The following month, Jonas expressed his slightly reduced nervousness about welcoming the new addition in an interview with People.
“You never really know what to expect…but I’m just excited,” he said, emphasizing the joy of having children.
Their second daughter was born in July 2022.
