ALBANY – Experience the charm of late 19th-century New York City in the highly anticipated “The Gilded Age Season 2 Behind the Scenes” video. Set against the historic backdrop of Albany, Cohoes, and Troy, this eight-episode season takes viewers on a journey through the clash between old and new high society over opera houses.
Creator Julian Fellowes described the opera as a battle between old and new New York in the video. Get a sneak peek into the lavish world of “The Gilded Age” as it premieres on HBO and MAX at 9 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29.
The season opens on Easter Sunday 1883, with State Street transformed into the bustling Easter Parade, complete with churchgoers strolling along Willett Street at Washington Park. The park’s First Presbyterian Church, adorned with flowers, stands in for the iconic St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Manhattan. It’s a visual feast for history buffs and fans of the era.

Join them at the Washington Avenue Armory, located at 195 Washington Ave, from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m.
