Universal Pictures
Universal Pictures has announced the new release date for The Fall Guy, a highly anticipated action comedy movie starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt. Instead of the original date of March 1, 2024, the film will now premiere on May 3, 2024.
The rescheduling aligns with the move of Deadpool 3 to July 26 next year, filling the slot previously intended for The Fall Guy.
The Fall Guy focuses on Colt Seavers (played by Gosling), a stuntman who reluctantly returns to the movie business in search of a missing star. Furthermore, the film is based on the 1980s ABC series, a hit show that ran for five seasons.
In addition to the lead roles, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Winston Duke, and Stephanie Tsu also star in the movie, which is directed by David Leitch. The screenplay is by Drew Pearce, with Kelly McCormick, and Leitch producing.
Additionally, the film is executive produced by Drew Pearce and Entertainment 360’s Geoff Shaevitz, as well as Glen A. Larson, the creator of the original television series.
