The Governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, has made an announcement today regarding the Office of the Governor’s Public Safety Office offering a substantial reward of up to $20,000. This reward is intended for anyone who can provide information that leads to the capture and arrest of the individual or individuals responsible for yesterday’s shooting incident involving a Harris County Sheriff’s deputy.
“Texas prioritizes law and order, and those who committed this heinous act must be aware that justice awaits them,” stated Governor Abbott. “Every day, our courageous law enforcement personnel risk their lives to safeguard their fellow Texans. They deserve to know they have unwavering support from the State of Texas. Together with the Texas Department of Public Safety, we will not rest until these dangerous criminals are held accountable. Our thoughts and prayers are with the injured deputy and their loved ones.”
The deputy was shot during a traffic stop on Wednesday evening. James Green, one of the suspects, has been apprehended. The other suspect is currently at large and goes by the name of Terran Green.
Terran Green, described as a Black man standing at 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt and green shorts.
To be eligible for the cash rewards, individuals providing information must use one of the following methods to relay the information to authorities:

- Submit a web tip through the Texas 10 Most Wanted website
- Submit a tip through the DPS Mobile App
