Terrifying Drive-By Shooting: 4 Teens Injured After Exiting DeKalb Co. House Party


Over the weekend, a drive-by shooting occurred following a house party in DeKalb County, resulting in four teenagers getting shot.

Authorities were alerted to the incident around 11 p.m. in the 3300 block of Glenwood Road.

Upon arrival, law enforcement encountered a large group of teenagers gathered on the side of the road.

Several of the teenagers had sustained gunshot wounds and were promptly transported to the hospital by EMS. Thankfully, their injuries were not life-threatening.

The victims included two 15-year-old girls with leg injuries, a 16-year-old girl with an arm injury, and a 17-year-old boy who was grazed by a bullet on his arm.

Investigators spoke to witnesses and discovered that the group of teenagers had attended a nearby house party, where an argument broke out between some members of their group and another group of teenagers.

The two groups eventually separated and departed. However, as the group spoken to by the police were waiting for a MARTA bus, members of the opposing group drove by in a car and opened fire on them.

Currently, no arrests have been made in connection to the shooting.
