Authorities in Santa Ana have announced the arrest of a 21-year-old man on charges of sexually assaulting a juvenile in Moreno Valley. The incident was reported when deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department responded to a missing 15-year-old around 2 a.m. on Friday. The teen was later found incoherent and intoxicated. An investigation revealed that the victim had been communicating with the suspect, Emmanuel Sosa, through social media. Sosa reportedly provided the teen with illegal substances and sexually assaulted them. The Santa Ana Police Department aided in locating and apprehending Sosa, who is currently held at the Robert Presley Detention Center on $70,000 bail. He is charged with lewd acts with a minor and contacting a minor with the intent to commit a sex crime. Sosa is expected to appear in court at the Riverside Hall of Justice on Wednesday.
