In celebration of the upcoming 2023-24 season, the San Antonio Spurs have invited fans to join them for a game of pickleball. The inaugural Austin event is set to take place on October 24th at the Millbrook Pickleball Club. You can purchase tickets for just $10 each.
This exciting event will also support the Spurs Give’s Play ATX initiative, which aims to renovate court and park spaces in Austin in partnership with the Austin Parks Foundation. When it comes to playing pickleball, attendees will have the option to choose between two courts. The Spurs have explained that one court will cater to beginners, with players rotating after each game. On the other hand, the intermediate court will operate with challenge play, allowing winning pairs to split and join new partners in subsequent rounds.
