Slovenia bounced back from their previous loss to Italy by winning against the Netherlands in the Volleyball Nations League. The team secured a 3-0 victory with set scores of 25-20, 32-30, 25-22. Klemen Čebulj, who contributed 13 points, highlighted the importance of the win for Slovenia, stating that it was a tough loss against Italy and this victory allowed them to regroup and realign their goals.

The match was not without its challenges, particularly seen in the grueling second set where the Netherlands was just a point away from securing the set. However, Čebulj’s kill raised the set point to 26, ultimately leading Slovenia to break away and secure the win.

Tine Urnaut led Slovenia with 14 points, followed closely by Rok Možič with 13 points. On the other hand, Nimir Abdel-Aziz scored 22 points for the Netherlands in a losing effort.
