Shocking Incident at Mt. San Antonio College: Fellow Student Arrested After Brutal Stabbing

A stabbing incident occurred at Mt. San Antonio College, possibly due to a love triangle between students. Media reports suggest that the altercation resulted in one man being hospitalized and another taken into police custody on Thursday.

The incident took place at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the college campus in Walnut. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to a call regarding a fight between two men, during which one of them was stabbed in the neck.

According to KTLA, the fight between the individuals involved revolved around a woman who is a student at the college. The woman’s ex-boyfriend initiated the altercation, and her current boyfriend retaliated by stabbing the other man with a knife, as confirmed by authorities.

At around 11:35 a.m., paramedics were dispatched to the campus located on North Grand Avenue, as reported by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The victim was admitted to the hospital while the suspect was apprehended, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The department also assured the public that there was no imminent safety threat at the community college.

Jill Dolan, spokesperson for Mt. San Antonio College, stated that the altercation originated from an argument between the two men which then escalated into a physical fight, ultimately resulting in the stabbing.

Campus counselors were present to provide assistance to the students on campus.

Deputies and investigators remained at the college campus until noon, as reported by various media outlets.
