As a 65-year-old woman who has been divorced and is not currently sexually active, I am faced with several challenges.
Additionally, I underwent a mastectomy at the age of 54 but have not pursued reconstructive surgery.
In my younger years, I possessed a great deal of sexual confidence, but now, with an aging and disfigured body, I struggle to imagine exposing myself to a man.
Despite feeling confident in other aspects of my life, this is a significant hurdle.

To regain confidence, it is crucial to reestablish self-acceptance and embrace your body.
There are various avenues for achieving this, including body-image programs, support groups (online or in-person), books, and podcasts.
Numerous resources and healers are available, so explore what resonates with you.
Simultaneously, reach out to your community to meet new people, engage in conversations, have fun, and discover shared interests.
Overcoming the challenges you have faced opens the door to true sexual intimacy, which is highly achievable if you can heal your sense of being unlovable.
With time and determination, you can regain your confidence and attract others.
