Allow me to give you some insight into the behind-the-scenes process: when reporters and critics receive screeners of a show, sometimes the episodes are not fully finished, especially the later ones. There are still visual effects, ADR, and other post-production elements that need to be added. So when I watched the screener for this episode a while ago, the Drew segment was missing — all we could see was Charlotte watching a blank screen and reacting to it. Naturally, I was eager to see the final product, and it certainly delivered (pun intended)! Erin, I agree that this episode had a lot happening. However, even with numerous storylines, characters still don’t receive the attention they deserve, as we consistently discuss week after week. Nonetheless, this was comedic gold.
Addiitonally, I find Anthony’s bread phone absolutely fascinating. — Marina
I’m not a lawyer, but I doubt it’s legal to fire all (or any) of your employees on the spot for using human growth hormone. Yet, all these guys seemed strangely content with losing their jobs! I half-expected them to unite and demand the right to wear coats over their uniforms during winter. — Lydia
Lol, a Hot Fellas union! I fully support their right to unionize. At the same time, I agree with Anthony that they didn’t match the vibe of Drew and her audience. Orange juice and juice heads simply don’t go together. — Marina
I loved Drew Barrymore’s appearance, although there were even bigger stars in this episode…sorry, bad joke…
But seriously, I found the entire Hot Fellas ordeal quite amusing today. The growth hormone segment made me chuckle a bit. However, Giuseppe’s situation on the Drew Barrymore Show was completely unwarranted. — Taiyler
Drew Barrymore has professed her love for “SATC” several times on her talk show, so I was thrilled to see her (and Ross Mathews) make a guest appearance. The Giuseppe and his, well, bread basket bit reminded me of classic “SATC.” His storyline with Anthony felt somewhat unresolved – I wonder if he will stick around for future episodes. — Curtis
