Hollywood superstar Pierce Brosnan recently experienced a rather unfortunate incident that resulted in both injury and a potential wardrobe malfunction. During an interview with People, the former “James Bond” actor revealed that while running to let the floor man into his home, he stubbed his toe and twisted it in pain. To make matters worse, he was wearing nothing but a towel at the time.
Brosnan elaborated on his most recent injury, which involved his wife, Keely Shaye Brosnan. It turns out that she had reminded him to listen for the doorbell and let the floor man in. Unfortunately, Brosnan initially ignored the bell, only to panic when he heard it again. In his rush to attend to the situation, he tripped and injured his toe. Experiencing a great deal of discomfort, he eventually lost his toenail due to the injury. Despite the pain, Brosnan humorously mentioned that he kept the towel on throughout the ordeal.
In addition to discussing his injury, Brosnan also spoke lovingly about his wife, whom he has been married to for over two decades. The couple enjoys playing backgammon together, although Brosnan admitted that Keely often happens to win. He also expressed admiration for Keely’s cooking skills, proclaiming that he always has the best seat at the table when enjoying her meals.
This revelation comes after Brosnan’s home in Malibu was recently broken into. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s office confirmed the incident, explaining that an intruder entered a neighboring property, used their facilities, and then trespassed onto Brosnan’s property, entering his guest house. Fortunately, law enforcement was able to apprehend the suspect with the assistance of their helicopter unit. It remains unclear whether anyone was home during the break-in.
Brosnan’s representative provided further details on the intruder’s actions, stating that the individual accessed the Brosnans’ property from the beach and used their outdoor shower. The staff promptly escorted the intruder off the premises. Currently, Brosnan and his wife reside in their Malibu home.
