Kanye West is facing another lawsuit after a celebrity photographer, Nichol Lechmanik, accused him of assault and battery. Lechmanik and other photographers were taking pictures of Ye’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, outside the Sports Academy in California earlier this year. When Ye noticed Lechmanik filming him, he allegedly reached for her phone, causing her to fear for her safety. Lechmanik’s lawyer, Gloria Allred, stated that Ye has a history of physical harm against photographers, making the plaintiff fear that he might have had a weapon. Allred previously represented another photographer who sued the artist in 2013. Ye’s representatives have not yet commented on the matter.
