The Barça Academy Pro Miami “Summer Camps” are focused on providing top-notch training for young footballers in Florida and beyond during the summer season. This year’s camps were a tremendous success, attracting over 450 players over the course of four weeks. Led by the esteemed FC Barcelona staff and coaches, these camps implement the same highly effective training methodology used in La Masia.
Geared towards players aged 6 to 14, the Summer Camps take place from Monday to Friday, running from 9 AM to 3 PM. Throughout the week, participants engage in various activities that cultivate fundamental coordination and conditioning skills, emblematic of the renowned Barça Way. These activities include honing ball movement, mastering spatial awareness, leveraging advantages and disadvantages, and perfecting finishing techniques. However, what sets these camps apart is their strong emphasis on instilling the core values of FC Barcelona: humility, effort, ambition, respect, and teamwork.
We extend our sincere appreciation to all the players and families who joined us for the FC Barcelona – Summer Camps 2023 in Miami Gardens (Monsignor Edward Pace High School), Broward County (Flamingo West Park), and Miami Dade “Tamiami” (Florida International University – FIU). From the wide pool of participants, we have handpicked a select group of players who will have the incredible opportunity to undergo training at the FC Barcelona Headquarters in Barcelona, Spain, during the Thanksgiving Break in November 2023. Not only will they receive exceptional training and play on the esteemed FC Barcelona training grounds, but they will also immerse themselves in the vibrant culture of Barcelona, a city renowned for its rich heritage.
We are thrilled to have had the chance to nurture the talent and values of these young athletes at our Summer Camps, and we look forward to continuing to inspire and develop future football stars.
