The Hawaii Career Expo is set to take place this Wednesday, providing job seekers with new opportunities as they connect with over 100 of the state’s leading employers. Sponsored by the Honolulu Star-Advertiser and presented by Star Events, the Expo is scheduled to be held at the Neal Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. This career-focused event is specifically designed to connect talented candidates from different fields with top-notch recruiters and HR managers to facilitate hiring opportunities across Hawaii.
The free, in-person fair aims to help applicants learn about the available jobs, have one-on-one conversations with company representatives and distribute their resumes on-site. Some of the participating organizations include Hawaiian Airlines, Aulani – A Disney Resort & Spa, Oahu Transit Services (TheBus), the State of Hawaii, City & County of Honolulu, Navy Region Hawaii, Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, and many more.
“Hundreds of people left our events with a life-changing career move or hire.,” said Denise Ching, the Star-Advertiser’s director of operations and advertising, while adding that thousands of people participated in their career expos in 2022 across the state.
The Expo includes several top industries such as banking, health care, education, and tourism, offering job seekers a wide range of prospects for professional and personal growth. To attend the event, attendees must present a printed copy of their resume at the front door for complimentary admission.
