Welcome to the Week 7 grades!
After nearly a month of anticipation, Bill Belichick achieved his 300th career regular-season win. The New England Patriots head coach secured his 299th win on September 24th and, following a three-game losing streak, finally reached the milestone with a shocking 29-25 upset over the Buffalo Bills. This victory makes Belichick the third coach in NFL history, alongside Don Shula and George Halas, to accomplish this feat.
The Lions’ loss to the Ravens was just as remarkable as the Patriots’ win. The game between the Detroit Lions and the Baltimore Ravens was expected to be a matchup between two of the league’s top teams. However, it turned into a one-sided affair, with the Ravens dominating and winning 38-6. The Lions were one of two teams that received an “F” grade during the Sunday slate of games.
