New Troy Location Now Open for Glens Falls Brewery

Mean Max Brew Works, known for its Adirondack-themed beers and ales such as Johns Brook and Roostercomb, has expanded its brand with the opening of a new location on Monument Square in Troy. This new taproom, situated at 251 River St., will be celebrated with a grand opening event on Thursday at 3 p.m.

Since its establishment in Glens Falls in 2014, Mean Max Brew Works has been dedicated to brewing small batches of high-quality ales, lagers, and stouts. With the opening of its Troy location, the brewery aims to become a part of the vibrant downtown craft beer scene and a beloved fixture in the community.

The grand opening festivities will extend throughout the weekend, featuring merchandise giveaways and special drink deals. Owner Matt Berry expressed excitement about joining the Troy community, stating, “From the beginning, we were drawn to the Troy vibe and are now happy to join the downtown craft beer scene. We can’t wait to meet all our neighbors and become a staple in this community.”
