Epic Games announces the upcoming Fortnite live event with Eminem, dubbed the “Big Bang,” which will put an end to the Fortnite OG season. This event will mark the beginning of a new era for the game. Throughout November, the Fortnite OG season has gained overwhelming popularity, drawing in a record 100 million players to experience the original map and weapons. This level of engagement has surpassed the game’s previous peak player numbers, revealing a significant resurgence in interest. Before the new season kicks off, the live event will feature Eminem and themed skins, introducing Rap Boy, Slim Shady, and Marshall Never More Outfits. The Big Bang event is scheduled to start on December 2nd at 2pm ET / 11am PT and can be accessed through various platforms, including Xbox Cloud Gaming, Nvidia GeForce NOW, and Amazon Luna on mobile devices. There will also be live streams on Twitch, YouTube, and other platforms. Following the live event, a new update, v28.00, will require downtime for Fortnite servers, accompanied by additional content for the game. However, players who faced long queues and were unable to participate in the event will have further opportunities to experience The Big Bang. Epic Games plans to schedule two more showings, at 5pm ET / 3pm PT and 11pm ET / 8pm PT.
