Aug. 29 (UPI) — Celebrity couple Mariska Hargitay and Peter Hermann are celebrating 19 years of marriage.
Hargitay, an actress known for her role in Law & Order: SVU, commemorated her 19th wedding anniversary with Hermann, an actor recognized for his appearance on Younger, on Monday.
Hargitay shared a photo on Instagram that captures her and Hermann holding hands and smiling during their first dance at their wedding.
“19 years. Best dance of my life. Only dance of my life,” she wrote in the caption.
Actresses Debra Messing and Amy Landecker joined Hargitay and Hermann in celebrating their anniversary in the comments section.
“Happy Anniversary!” Messing wrote.
“One of the best couples there is,” Landecker remarked.
Hargitay and Hermann first met on the set of Law & Order: SVU in 2002. The couple tied the knot in 2004 and have three children together—sons August and Andrew, and daughter Amaya.
In a 2019 interview with People, Hargitay and Hermann emphasized the importance of laughter in their enduring marriage.
“I never thought I would experience this much laughter in my life,” Hermann expressed. “Not just actual laughter, but also the way Mariska embodies laughter and joy.”
Hargitay portrays Det. Olivia Benson on Law & Order: SVU and Law & Order: Organized Crime, while Hermann recently made a cameo appearance in Season 2 of And Just Like That….
