The Games and Amusements Board (GAB) is conducting an investigation into an incident that occurred during a game between Marikina and Pasig at the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) last Tuesday.
A video circulating online shows Marikina coach Elvis Tolentino hitting his player Felipe Chavez on the chest during a timeout after Chavez committed a costly turnover with 14.7 seconds left while their team was down by four. Pasig went on to win the game, 71-66, at Ynares Sports Arena.
