Croatia’s midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has joined Al-Nassr in the Saudi Arabian league, following in the footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo. This move sees Brozovic transition from playing in the Champions League final with Inter Milan to a league that is gaining international recognition. Al-Nassr expressed their enthusiasm for the signing, stating that Brozovic chose them over other interested clubs. The transfer fee is reported to be 18 million euros ($20 million), with a three-year contract worth over 25 million euros (almost $30 million) per season. The funds from this transfer may be utilized by Inter Milan to repurchase Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea.
Al-Nassr has also signed other notable players, including Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, Ruben Neves, Kalidou Koulibali, and Edouard Mendy. Additionally, the club has secured a sponsorship deal with Nike, becoming their new uniform sponsor for the upcoming season. Brozovic, who spent the last nine seasons at Inter, is a versatile midfielder.
