A 21-year-old man has been charged with three counts of armed robbery and one count of attempted robbery, following multiple incidents in Moreno Valley and Cabazon. Wesley Denzale Hall, a resident of Moreno Valley, was arrested on Monday and is currently being held at the Smith Correctional Facility in Banning on $210,000 bail. His initial court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at the Riverside Hall of Justice.
According to Sgt. Robert Martinez of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Hall allegedly committed the robberies between April and August at gas stations and convenience stores in Cabazon and Moreno Valley.
A total of four businesses were targeted during this period.
The most recent incident took place on the morning of August 4th at a gas station located in the 24000 block of JFK Drive in Moreno Valley.
Sgt. Martinez stated that the defendant allegedly stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the gas station before fleeing the scene.
After weeks of reviewing evidence, detectives were able to identify Hall as the suspect in all four robberies. Further evidence linked him to the crimes, according to Sgt. Martinez.
Hall was apprehended without incident at the intersection of Filaree Avenue and Perris Boulevard on Monday afternoon.
It is worth noting that Hall has no prior felony convictions in Riverside County.
