The enthusiasm of the Filipino fans for this international game is evident, as one local fan named Jan Rafael explained, “It’s very festive. It’s great to watch an international game. The level of play is different compared to local volleyball.” Another fan, Daniel Santos, expressed his belief that the VNL is an opportunity for volleyball to raise its level of play in the country. Stephanie Marie Fowler, an Italy supporter, also emphasized the importance of the VNL in inspiring others and providing entertainment.
