The Seoul High Court has ruled in favor of the five remaining members of the K-pop group LOONA, who appealed to terminate their contracts with BlockBerry Creative, a South Korean talent agency.
Korean media outlet Segye Ilbo reported that the court decided to suspend the exclusive contracts of Haseul, Yeojin, Yves, Gowon, and Olivia Hye with the talent label on June 16.
In January, the five LOONA members filed an injunction to terminate their contracts but initially lost as they had reportedly amended the contracts with the talent agency. However, they appealed and won as the court found that BlockBerry Creative transferred their contracts to Universal Japan without their written consent.
