Kanye West has resurfaced with a new song that is bound to create controversy. The rap superstar, who faced severe backlash after making a series of antisemitic comments, has returned with a new release sure to stir more debate.
DJ Pharris premiered the new song “Vultures” during his Friday night show on Chicago radio station Power 92. The track, which features Ty Dolla Sign and Lil Durk, was first reported byComplexon social media.
West addressed his controversial comments head-on with incendiary lyrics, including, “How am I antisemitic? I just f****d a Jewish b****.”
Elsewhere in the song, he appears to criticize his former manager Scooter Braun (“I just f****d Scooter’s b****”) and references the Columbine shooting.
West’s career took a hit after a bizarre appearance on Alex Jones’ “Infowars” talk show. He made antisemitic jokes about Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and expressed admiration for Hitler which led to a media frenzy. This resulted in him being cut off from Twitter, Adidas ending their business relationship with him, CAA dropping him as a client, and MRC axing a planned documentary about him. West claimed to have incurred a $2 billion loss in one day due to his hateful speech in October.
Ty Dolla Sign recently spoke out about his collaboration with West, revealing that they’re working on a full-length album together.
“I just landed on a flight from Saudi Arabia,” Ty said toComplex. “I’ve been out there recording a part of my album with my brother Ye, and that’s coming real soon.”
