Sept. 3 (UPI) — Actress Kristin Chenoweth tied the knot with musician Josh Bryant in a charming wedding ceremony held in Dallas this past weekend.
“I have always considered myself a self-proclaimed bachelorette,” Chenoweth confided in an exclusive cover story published by People magazine on Saturday.
“Marriage was never in my plans. I even had an engagement before, but I couldn’t go through with it. That all changed when I met Josh. Suddenly, the thought of letting him go seemed unthinkable. I feel incredibly blessed.”
Chenoweth, who is 55 years old, shared stunning photos from the wedding on her Instagram account. The images showcase her wearing an elegant strapless gown in nude and pink tones, her beautiful long hair flowing down, and a delicate bouquet of white, pink, and peach roses in her hands.
Bryant, 41, opted for a classic grey suit, white shirt, and dark shoes for the special occasion.
The couple’s beloved dog, Thunder, had a sweet role as the ring bearer and walked down the aisle to the tune of AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck.”
About 140 guests, including celebrities like Kathy Najimy, David Foster, Katharine McPhee, and Kenny Ortega, attended the ceremony hosted at a private residence.
Bryant proposed to Chenoweth in 2021, following three years of dating.
