Jollyes’ Revenue Skyrockets as it Sets its Sights on 100 Pet Stores

Jollyes, the popular British pet shop chain, saw a remarkable increase in revenue last year as sales jumped from £87m to £115.3m. Taking advantage of the pandemic’s momentum, the pet store, the rival of listed giant Pets at Home, aims to open more than 100 locations across the UK. As a result of the surge in demand for animal food and accessories, brought on by millions of households acquiring pets during the pandemic, Jollyes was able to break records and is looking to achieve even higher goals. Joe Wykes, CEO of Jollyes, hopes to see £350m in revenue and up to 250 stores. Wykes also expressed the possibility of taking the business public within the next four to five years, with a goal of doing better than Pets at Home. Pets at Home has a presence of over 450 stores in Britain and is valued at nearly £2 billion. However, Wykes remains confident and believes that Jollyes is already having a significant impact on its rival.
