In the latest episode of “Live With Kelly and Mark,” Kelly Ripa amusingly recounts an incident where her son, Joaquin, peed on her clothes during their trip to New Orleans.
According to Ripa, this hilarious mishap occurred in their hotel room at Harrah’s Hotel and Casino when Joaquin was just 3 years old.
“I noticed his little head peeking around the corner of the bed, and I was like, ‘What is he doing?'”
Ripa shared with guest host Ryan Seacrest, filling in for Mark Consuelos. “I called out his name, but he was still sound asleep. He didn’t respond.”
Ripa goes on to explain that Joaquin went to a drawer, opened it, and she heard a noise resembling “marbles dropping.”
To her surprise, it turned out that Joaquin was actually peeing on her clothes.

“He thought he had entered his bathroom. He was so tired that he just opened the drawer and peed in my wardrobe,” Ripa revealed, leaving the audience in shock.
“So, I ended up wearing a collection of Harrah’s Hotel and Casino shirts,” she added with a laugh.
In addition to Joaquin, Ripa and Consuelos have two more children, Michael and Lola, who are now both adults.
This isn’t the first time Ripa has shared amusing stories about her kids on air. In an April E! News interview, she mentioned that her children have blocked her on social media for “self-preservation.”
Nowadays, Joaquin is all grown up and attending the University of Michigan, where he is a part of the wrestling team.
Earlier this month, Mark followed in his son’s footsteps and entered the wrestling ring, facing off against NCAA champion wrestler Mason Parris from the University of Michigan for a segment on “Live With Kelly and Mark.”
