During an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Snoop Dogg made an appearance as a guest. Kimmel mentioned that Snoop’s birthday falls on October 20th. The Kimmel family celebrates half-birthdays, which occur six months after the actual birth date.
Kimmel shared that while contemplating the significance of 4/20, a day dedicated to cannabis culture, he realized that the half-anniversary of the event would be 10/20, coinciding with Snoop’s birthday. Considering Snoop’s well-known love for and association with weed, Kimmel declared that henceforth, October 20th would be celebrated as DoggFather’s Day, an occasion to honor Snoop for his contributions to the advancement of marijuana.
