Renowned TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson has issued a cautionary message to consumers who have purchased his cider, alerting them to the possibility of it “exploding.” The 63-year-old star has gained a new following with his popular show, Clarkson’s Farm, which showcases his 1,000-acre agricultural enterprise in the Cotswolds. Taking to Twitter, Clarkson expressed his concerns, stating, “There has been a major mishap and as a result, there is a slim chance that some of our Hawkstone CIDER bottles could, to put it frankly, explode.” He advised individuals with caps bearing the code L3160 to open them underwater, dispose of the contents, and contact for a reimbursement. Despite the inconvenience, Clarkson reassured consumers that their beer remains unaffected and still as enjoyable as ever. He confirmed that the majority of the cider bottles remain unaffected as well. Hawkstone, the brand behind the beverage, explained on Instagram that the problem stems from a small portion of the cider over-fermenting. They offered those inconvenienced the options of providing photos of the caps for either a fresh batch or a refund. Clarkson’s latest series on Amazon Prime chronicles the farm’s introduction of new animals and crops, as well as their engagement in discussions with local authorities regarding planning. Despite facing resistance from some local villagers when expanding his business with a farm shop and restaurant, Clarkson remains dedicated to his farming enterprise. A third series is anticipated to document another year at the farm. In addition to his farming pursuits, Clarkson co-hosts The Grand Tour on Amazon Prime with his former Top Gear colleagues Richard Hammond and James May. Furthermore, he continues to host the popular ITV game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
