A few weeks after his hospitalization for an undisclosed medical condition, Foxx made an appearance on the pickleball court. In a video shared on social media, the “Ray” star discussed the severity of his condition, stating, “I cannot even begin to tell you how far it took me and how it brought me back. He explained that he kept his condition private because he didn’t want his fans to see him in that state. Foxx expressed his desire for people to see him in a happier light, stating, “I want you to see me laughing, having a good time, partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie, a television show.” He concluded the video by assuring everyone, “I am on my way back.”
Recently, Foxx faced backlash after posting a cryptic message on social media. The post, which read, “THEY KILLED THIS DUDE NAME JESUS… WHAT DO YOU THINK THEY’LL DO TO YOU???!” with the hashtags “#fakefriends” and “#fakelove,” was interpreted by some as having antisemitic connotations. Various individuals on social media believed that Foxx’s use of the pronoun “they” referred specifically to the Jewish community.
