Rust armorer Hannah Gutierrez Reed has pleaded not guilty to charges of involuntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence. District Court Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer has scheduled the trial for December 6-15, 2023, with jury selection starting on December 5.
Gutierrez Reed served as the armorer on the set of the Alec Baldwin film, where the actor accidentally fired a gun, resulting in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

Documents obtained by Fox News Digital in June revealed that Gutierrez Reed was accused of transferring narcotics to another person with the intention of evading arrest, prosecution, or conviction.
Hutchins tragically lost her life on the New Mexico set of the Western film, while director Joel Souza was also injured by a bullet from a weapon Baldwin was handling during a scene rehearsal in a church on October 21, 2021. Baldwin has denied pulling the trigger of the gun that caused Hutchins’ death.
