The M 1000 R is a remarkable achievement, becoming the first naked bike from BMW to exceed the 200 hp mark. Under its sleek exterior, it shares the same powerhouse as the M 1000 RR. Equipped with a 999 cc, in-line 4-cylinder water-cooled engine, this exceptional bike produces a jaw-dropping 212 horsepower at 14,500 rpm and delivers 113 Nm of peak torque. Astonishingly, BMW claims that this powerhouse can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 3.2 seconds and boasts an impressive top speed of 280 kilometers per hour.
The M 1000 R offers a wide range of riding modes to cater to diverse preferences, including Rain, Road, Dynamic, Race, and Race Pro modes. It also features the latest iteration of Dynamix traction control, a wheelie function powered by a 6-axis sensor box, ABS, ABS pro, launch control, and pit lane limiter for enhanced control and safety.
